What's your story?

Simply, The Beginning

Dispense me some candy,

But do not expect me to chew.

I politely decline

Your gateway to addiction,

And the words that ring true.

Time after time

I hear the sound of chewing,

But they are not my jaw.

Nor are they any sign

Of what is to come.

Chew your tongue.

Watch your words.

Find yourself,

But never lose

Yourself.

Time

Finds us.

But why is it

We do not find time?

Any sign would be nice.

But the stop sign

Was not enough.

I was freight-training

Down.

No brakes,

No stops,

And no worries.

But then I had

All of the worries

As I came full speed

Ahead,

And the only stop

Was the end.

Turns out,

It was not a

Dead

End.

Simply,

The

Beginning.
