What's your story?

Home Cooked Food

A junkie

They call it.

More like

A monkey

With all these

Bananas.

Drinking daily,

Scotch and Baileys.

A drink or two

Wouldn't

Hurt

The common flu.

After all,

We all have things to do.

Mine is eating,

How about you?

Eating is fun,

But indulging

Is

Quite the ride.

In full stride,

I hope these burritos

Today

Are not what

The restroom

Tacos

About

Tomorrow.

Spaghetti and meat balls.

I would love to meet

At the mall.

That diner down the street:

It's just a block or two.

A couple granola bars

To make it there,

Just a few.

Food:

We live with it,

Starve without it.

What's the big deal

About it?

Chocolate chips

Here and there,

It's neither here,

But definitely there.

There

Is my tummy.

Can't you see?

It's all just

So

Very

Yummy.

Eat on sight,

That's what I always say.

What's this thing

Called

Cheesecake?

Is it cheese with cake?

Or cake with cheese?

Say cheese,

The picture is done.

A few pounds are won.

Not the British kind.

More like the

New-pant-size-coming-to-a-person-near-you

Kind of

Find.

We don't have to search

For food.

It consumes us

As much as we consume

It.

The mindset is unique

But we cannot stop.

Indulgence is beauty,

So we cannot stop.

Stop signs are red.

So is some food.

I guess that's the green light

To spice up our lives

With some delicious

Home cooked

Food.
