What's your story?

You're Ok, Okay?

Back in the day,

What was it I had to say?

And what did I really say?

I hope and pray

Nothing too embarrassing,

S'il vous plaît.

The words were a blur.

I danced like a monkey,

But got lost in the beat.

And the time we had

Was surely hard to beat.

My heart beat,

But,

Luckily,

It did not explode.

Although it could have.

I was that happy,

You see.

My happiness comes from me,

And spending time with thee,

And the rest of the world,

And all of its glory.

We put our hands up,

But will never feel the wind

Unless we let the roller

Coast,

And the coast

Roll.

From sea to sea,

The best me

Is the one I paint

On my face and

Wear inside

And out

With no care.

Our freedom of expression

Is one I cannot pen,

Nor paperback.

There exist no books

That explain this harmony.

I live it

Knowing my chapters

Are to never be forgotten

Nor repeated.

Because each moment is unique.

And now I say again,

What did I really

Say?

You’re

Ok,

Okay?
